Eight killed in Afghanistan bombings

KABUL: At least eight people were killed on Monday and four others were injured two separate bombings that rocked the Northern part of Afghanistan.

In the first attack, a police vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb in Khan Abad district.

Police said that one officer was left killed and three others injured as a result of the explosion.

In the other attack, the security forces managed to engage with the perpetrators and killed seven of the gunmen and injured one more. (QNA)
