DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Monday at 11,258.51 points or 0.72 percent down 81.61 points from the previous closing of 11,340.12 points.
The volume of shares was up to 15,845,672 from Sunday 11,707,429 and the value of shares increased to QR505,786,828.53 from QR440,316,298.89 on Sunday.
Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share down 1.69 percent to QR175.00, Barwa Real Estate lost 1.87 percent to QR34.20, Vodafone Qatar fell 0.91 percent to QR11.97 and Doha Insurance decreased by 2.09 percent to QR22.51.
The Banking and Financial sector index was down 0.28 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.31 points.
The industrial sector was fell 1.42 points while insurance sector added 0.94 percent points. (QNA)
