DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Wednesday at 11,388.14 points or 0.27 percent down 30.62 points from the previous closing of 11,418.76 points on Tuesday.
The volume of shares was fell to 14,706,579 from Tuesday 15,391,745 and the value of shares decreased to QR619,893,657.56 from QR779,921,303.34 on Tuesday.
Among the top losers were Barwa Real Estate whose share down 1.40 percent to QR35.30, Vodafone Qatar lost 0.81 percent to QR12.20, Gulf International fell 5.81 percent to QR79.50 and Nakilat decreased by 6.02 percent to QR19.84.
The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.64 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index dropped 0.30 points.
The industrial sector was fell 0.78 points while insurance sector up 0.10 percent points. (QNA)
