DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Tuesday adding 17.11 points or 0.15 percent to advance to 11,418.76 points from 11,401.65 on Sunday.
The volume of the shares traded up to 15,391,745 from 14,644,221 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR779,921,303.34 from QR689,574,299.79 Monday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 0.79 percent to QR64.00, Doha Bank gained 0.70 percent to QR57.20, Vodafone Qatar added 0.65 percent to QR12.30 and Gulf International up by 7.11 percent to QR84.40.
The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.55 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 0.50 points.
The industrial sector was added 1.64 points while insurance sector up 2.00 points. (QNA)
