S. Korean president receives credentials of Qatari ambassador

SEOUL: President of South Korea Park Geun Hye has received the credentials of HE Mohammed Abdullah Al-Duhaimi as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar in Seoul.

During a meeting at the Presidential Palace, HE the Qatari Ambassador conveyed HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's greetings to the President of South Korea, wishing her the best of health and the government and people of South Korea further progress and prosperity.

For her part, the President entrusted the Ambassador with her greetings to HH the Emir and her wishes of the best of health and further development and growth to the people of Qatar under HH the Emir's wise leadership.

Talks during the meeting also covered the distinct relations between the two countries and ways of developing them to serve the two peoples interests.

The South Korean President wished the Ambassador success in his duties. (QNA)
