DOHA: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) honoured 22 police cadets for obtaining Certified International Trainer certificate, the MoI said.
Legal Advisor of HE the Minister of Interior, Major General Dr Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal honoured the cadets at an event held at the Officers Club of Civil Defence.
Human Resource Department Director Brigadier Husain Hassan Al Jaber; Head of Training, HR Dept. Captain Ali Saud Al Henzab and directors of MoI departments attended the cremony.
Speaking at the event, Brig Al Jaber said such training courses are part of collaborations between the human resource department and Police Training Institute, the
Technical Office of HE the Prime Minister and the Strategic Planning Department to develop internationally certified trainers from the MoI.
Capacity-building and training programmes for Qatari cadets reiterates the strategic vision of the ministry, Captain Al Henzab said.
The Police Training Institute co-ordinated the training programme in association with the British College and City & Guilds.
The certified cadets represent all departments of the MoI. New batches of police cadets will regularly receive high level training, the MoI said. (QNA)
