DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Tuesday at 11,855.94 points or 0.37 percent down 44.44 points from the previous closing of 11,900.38 points on Monday.
The volume of shares was fell to 13,226,450 from Monday 13,423,010 and the value of shares increased to QR722,583,877.95 from QR598,576,475.87 on Monday.
Among the top losers were Qatar Islamic Bank whose share down 6.17 percent to QR76.00, Commercial Bank of Qatar lost 0.13 percent to QR75.30, Vodafone Qatar fell 1.14 percent to QR12.19 and Doha Insurance decreased by 1.64 percent to QR24.00.
The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.23 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.20 points.
The industrial sector was rose 0.34 points while insurance sector up 0.88 percent points. (QNA)
