MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman will host on March 30th the 14th GCC Industrialists' Conference under the theme of "Industrial Exports: Opportunities & Challenges".
The two-day conference will be organized by Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC), in conjunction with Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The conference aims at highlighting the strategic issues related to the industrial exports of the GCC countries and Yemen, besides the opportunities and challenges for the industrial exports in the Gulf markets, as well as the investment and funding in this field, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
It also aims at opening new channels in the GCC countries to strengthen the trade relations with the international markets and leading industrial companies.
As well as setting up basics for the export trade in the GCC countries in a bid to increase the opportunities of promoting the industrial exports to the global markets.
And enhancing the GCC interpersonal relations to enable the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and industrial entrepreneurs to invest in the export-based industries, in addition to setting up projects and specialized companies in export to the global markets.
Themes of the conference will deal with status of the export-based industries in the GCC countries and Yemen, the legislations and their impact on the industrial exports.
As well as the policies and mechanisms of investment and funding for the industrial exports, in addition to reviewing the local and international experiences in exports development. (QNA)
