DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Wednesday adding 24.50 points 0.22 percent to advance to 11,075.98 points from 11,051.48 on Tuesday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 11,496,228 from 11,515,039 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR969,164,593.26 from QR642,346,176.73 Tuesday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 1.69 percent to QR72.40, International Islamic Bank gained 2.33 percent to QR70.30, Ooredoo added 1.13 percent to QR143.40 and Islamic Insurance up by 2.89 percent to QR64.
The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.73 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.08 points.
The industrial sector was gained 0.42 points while insurance sector added 1.39 points. (QNA)
