DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Wednesday adding 36.15 points 0.33 percent to advance to 10,834.84 points from 10,798.69 on Tuesday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 8,230,532 from 15,135,635 on Tuesday and the value of shares decreased to QR400,714,185.32 from QR701,704,290.94 Tuesday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.41 percent to QR173.50, Doha Bank gained 1.27 percent to QR63.80, Al khalij Commercial Bank added 2.67 percent to QR20.79 and Islamic Holding up by 3.38 percent to QR52.00.
The Banking and Financial sector index was rose 0.69 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.41 points.
The industrial sector was gained 0.12 points while insurance sector lost 1.47 points. (QNA)
