DOHA: Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the second meeting of GCC Federation of Chambers and Customs Union which began yesterday in Riyadh.
Qatar Chamber is represented by Honorary Treasurer and Board Member Ali Abdul Latif Al Misnad.
The meeting discusses ways of developing trade between GCC countries, the optimal situation for the Customs Union and the idle production capacity.
It also deals with the development of the necessary mechanisms to facilitate the flow of goods among the GCC countries.
Recommendations that will be reached during the meeting are expected to be submitted to the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee (The GCC Ministers of Finance and Economy) for approval. (QNA)
