ISLAMABAD: After the killing of seven more people early Saturday morning, the death toll has reached to ten in less than 24 hours while protesters took to the streets against the killings in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Geo News reported.
After fresh violence erupted in the city, ten people were killed overnight, while five others were injured in different firing incidents across the metropolis.
According to the Rangers, a political party is involved in the killings.
It said that evidences have been collected and the culprits would be arrested soon.
In the latest incident, a policeman was gunned down in Sachal Goth area, Pakistani newspaper 'The News' reported.
Earlier, unknown armed men opened fire on Rashid Minhas Road early morning and killed two brothers.
The deceased were the students of a seminary, sources told.
Two more men were targeted and killed in Sohrab Goth and Gulshan-e-Hadeed while a body was also found from Baldia Town. (QNA)
