DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Wednesday at 10,457.12 points 0.38 percent down 39.77 points from the previous closing of 10,496.89 points on Tuesday.
The volume of shares was fell to 9,836,183 from Tuesday's 16,944,431 and the value of shares decreased to QR544,423,926.65 from QR672,204,715.85 on Tuesday.
Among the top losers were Commercial Bank of Qatar whose share down 0.56 percent to QR70.70, Electricity and Water lost 1.18 percent to QR168.00, Vodafone Qatar fell 1.21 percent to QR11.46 and Doha Insurance decreased by 1.94 percent to QR25.25.
The Banking and Financial sector index was lost 0.53 percent points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 0.21 points.
The industrial sector was rose 0.21 points while insurance sector down 0.46 percent points. (QNA)
