DOHA: The Qatar Exchange ended in the red area when trading closed Thursday at 10,389.10 points or 0.51 percent gained 56.60 points from the previous closing of 10,336.50 points on Wednesday.
The volume of shares was up to 17,930,655 from Wednesday's 10,016,964 and the value of shares decreased to QR 674,329,624.61 from QR 1,085,558,728.38 on Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar whose share up 0.29 percent to QR 69.20, Gulf warehousing Co whose share raised 1.11 percent to QR 40.95, United Dev. Company gain 0.95 percent to QR 23.32 and Nakilat increased by 0.96 percent to QR 21.10.
The Banking and Financial sector index was gained 0.60 percent points, while Consumer Goods and Services sector index raised 0.29 percent points.
The industrial sector was up 0.20 percent points while insurance sector down 1.22 percent points. (QNA)
