Pakistan, Afghanistan sign economic and trade cooperation agreement

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Afghanistan signed today an agreement to strengthen economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
The signing ceremony of the agreement took place in the presence of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the visiting Afghan President Hamid Karzai, said an official statement today.
The agreement was signed by Pakistani Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Afghanistan's Minister of Finance Dr. Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal.
It aims to strengthen economic ties focusing on raising the volume of trade exchange between the two countries, the statement added. (QNA)
