ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Hamid Karzai has extended his stay in Pakistan for another day on the request of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz.
The decision will enable the two leaders to discuss common issues further in the context of bilateral and regional levels, Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in statement today.
The statement indicated that Nawaz Sharif will hold a new round of talks with Karzai later in the day.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai had arrived in Islamabad yesterday for one-day official visit during which he met the Pakistani leadership. (QNA)
