President of Turkmenistan meets Al-Attiyah

ASHGABAT: President of the Republic of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov met on Tuesday morning with Chairman of Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, currently visiting Ashgabat to preside over the Qatari side in the first meeting of Qatar-Turkmenistan Joint Higher Committee.
At the outset of the meeting, HE Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah conveyed greetings of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the President of Turkmenistan and their wishes for him and Turkmenistan's people further development and prosperity.
For his part, Turkmen President entrusted HE Al-Attiyah with his greetings to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent, wishing them the best of health and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.
During the meeting, President of Turkmenistan stressed to promote relations between the two countries and emphasized the importance of strengthening the work of the Joint Higher Committee as a way to develop these relations in various fields.
The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador to Iran and Non-Resident Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ibrahim bin Abdurrahman Al-Moghaisib. (QNA)
