ISLAMABAD: Unidentified gunmen blew up a girls' school in northwest Pakistan on Saturday morning.
According to media sources, the unknown gunmen planted explosives at a girls' school in Bara area in Khyber tribal province in northwest of the country and blew it up, the matter which led to destroy tyhe school building.
It is worth to mention that more than 83 schools were blown up in the same district by the militants within the past years.
The aim of blowing up schools by militants is to prevent and intimidate school students , especially female students and prevent them to continue study in light of the presence of some anti-education elements in northwest Pakistan. (QNA)
