ISLAMABAD: Unknown gunmen killed a Pakistani journalist southwestern Pakistan on Monday.
According to Urdu-speaking Pakistani TV channel (Dunia news), one of its reporters was attacked by unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle in the city of Benjkor, Baluchistan.
Pakistan's Federal Minister for Information QamarZamanKaira and other political leaders in the country denounced this incident while the journalists' unions called on the government to take necessary action to protect journalists in the country.
Pakistan is one of the most dangerous countries for journalists, with dozens killed in a few years, especially those who work in troubled areas. (QNA)
