Shutdown in Srinagar

Hardline leader Syed Ali Geelani had called for a shutdown to protest against the start of Kouser Nag yatra, a Hindu pilgrimage, in an ecologically fragile area in southern Kashmir. The government has denied giving permission for the pilgrimage.
