Activists participate in a rally organised by “The Red Brigade - Bring Bangalore Back” to protest against the recent incidents of sexual abuse, molestation and rapes against women in Bangalore yesterday.

Bangalore: Musthafa, a 30-year-old skating instructor at a private school here, was arrested yesterday on charges of sexually assaulting a six-year-old student in a classroom three weeks ago that rocked this city and outraged hundreds of parents.

“The accused has been arrested under sections 376 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) after he was interrogated with six other staff members of the school following a complaint by the victim’s parents July 14,” Commissioner of Police Raghavendra Auradkar told reporters here.

Police also seized from the accused a mobile handset and a laptop, which contained incriminating pornographic videos showing school children being raped. “That shows the state of his perverted mind. The videos were downloaded from porn sites through Internet,” police said. IANS
