Ferry sinks East China, kills 8

BEIJING: Eight people are now confirmed dead with rescuers searching for five others who are still missing after a ferry sank in the Yangtze River east China.
 
According to the State Administration of Work Safety, the ferry carrying 14 people sank in a Yangtze section as a result of crashing. 
 
Search and rescue operations are still underway, the Administration added. (QNA)
