QOC holds first meeting of New Olympic Term

DOHA: The Qatar National Sports Day (NSD) and plans for the upcoming Combined Games were discussed by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) during its first meeting for the New Olympic Term 2013.
 
The Secretaries-General of the country's various sport federations and clubs attended the meeting held at the QOC headquarters on Monday.
 
The Assistant-Secretary General for Administrative Support Mishaal Nasser Al Khalifa, the Assistant-Secretary General for Technical Support Khalid Hamad Al Mohannadi and directors of QOC Departments attended the meeting.
 
At the meeting the participants have unanimously approved the minutes of the previous QOC meeting held on May 15 last year.
 
The members also discussed plans for the ongoing arrangements to celebrate the country's National Sport Day (NSD) on  February 12 as well as QOC's participation in the previous and upcoming  Combined Games.
 
The meeting also reviewed the programmes of  the QOC Departments and their affiliated committees. (QNA)
