Jordan gets 22.8 million euro loan from France

AMMAN: Jordan has signed a 22.8 million euros soft loan pact with France to renovate the country's drinking water network and improve the efficiency of pumping stations in northern governorates, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
Jordan's Planning Minister, Jafar Hassan, signed the agreement with French Ambassador in Amman, Corinne Breuze on Thursday. Under the terms of the deal, the loan, which will be given to a Jordanian water company, will be repaid over 15 years, with a six-year grace period and a fixed annual interest of 0.05%, according to the (The Jordan Times).
