Turkey signs $350 mln drilling deal for Iraq's Basra

ISTANBUL: Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said on Friday that Turkey had signed a deal worth a total $350 million on drilling 40 oil wells in the southern Iraqi Basra area.
 
He also told a news conference that Turkey was in talks with the central Iraqi government on drilling a total of 7,000 wells across Iraq. (Reuters)
