German Chancellor Angela Merkel looks through a microscope at stem cells that have been bred to grow heart muscle cells, during her visit to the medical university (MHH) in Hanover yesterday. Merkel visited the MHH where scientists are studying in the fields of research called “rebirth” and “hearing 4 all” to find possible methods of treatment for deaf people and people that need organ transplantations.
