Ready to celebrate Eid Al Fitr

Qatar has readied to celebrate Eid Al Fitr as the ministries and other government institutions have announced their readiness for the festivity with full fervour.

As many as 642 mosques and open grounds have been prepared for Eid Al Fitr prayers while the picnic places which attract a large number of visitors such as public parks, beaches, islands are also readied to receive the visitors throughout the Eid holidays.

The Mosques Management Department at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has prepared 642 mosques and open grounds for Eid Al Fitr prayers. The Eid Al Fitr prayers will be held at 5:32am. To accommodate a maximum number of worshippers, more than one place has been prepared in each area.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Municipality has readied beaches for the citizens and residents to celebrate Eid. The beaches include Al Ruwais Beach, Al Ghariya Beach, Abu Zaluf Beach, Fuwairt Beach, Al Zakhira Beach, Al Ferkiah Beach at Al Khor, Simaisma Beach, Simaisma Beach, Dukhan Beach, Al Wakra Beach, Al Wakra Beach, Al Kharaij Beach, Sealine Beach, Sealine Beach, Adaid Beach among many more.

The beaches are provided with walkways, shades of different designs, permanent toilets, kiosks, barbeque areas, play areas for children, and volleyball and football grounds. Dedicated walkways for people with special needs have also been built on some beaches to give them access to the sea. The lighting system of almost all beaches is powered by solar energy.

United Development Company (UDC), in collaboration with Seashore has announced the Eid Al Fitr celebrations on The Pearl Island, dedicated to welcoming ‘Qatar’s Guests’ – The Children of Gaza.

The Eid celebrations aim to create a joyous and inclusive atmosphere for families, uniting communities in celebration while honoring the resilience and strength of the children of Gaza who are currently undergoing treatment in Qatar.

United Development Company (UDC) has also unveiled an exceptional shopping experience with the launch of the Eid Market during Eid Al Fitr celebrations. The Pearl Ramadan Bazaar witnessed an overwhelming response from residents and visitors throughout the holy month. It featured a rich array of activities and entertainment, including the vibrant Garangao night celebration, captivating Mesaharati performances, and a mesmerizing folkloric showcase highlighting Qatar’s cultural heritage by a talented Kuwaiti troupe.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has also announced its action plan to dispatch patrolling at meadows and natural reserves during Eid Al Fitr expecting a large number of visitors to these areas due to pleasant weather.
