DOHA: The major Italian companies in Qatar met yesterday to celebrate the establishment of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Qatar (IBCQ).
The event, held in the presence Italian Ambassador to Qatar Guido de Sanctis and Abdullah Eid Al Sulait, Qatar’s Ambassador to Italy, was attended by top  Qatari business leaders including  Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani,  Mohammad bin Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani and Remy Rowhany, Director General, Qatar Chamber. 
IBCQ chairperson Palma Libotte presented the chamber’s activities before the Qatari dignitaries. IBCQ has been officially supported by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development. The Italian Chamber of Commerce is very active through B2B meetings, trade missions, exhibitions, networking events. Italy’s exports to Qatar has been increasing significantly since
