International Islamic recruits 63 nationals

DOHA: The International Islamic (QIIB) yesterday announced it has recruited 63 Qataris as part of  the bank’s ongoing Qatarisation drive.

A total of 241 candidates had applied for different jobs in the Bank. Of this, 62 have been selected for various positions on the “Open Recruitment Day”. 25 candidates have been advised to appear for the interview at concerned departments, the Bank said in a prèss note issued here yesterday.

All selected candidates have been notified to sign their work contracts with QIIB. “We are very happy that 62 citizens, males and females, are going to join QIIB and we are very proud to implement Qatar National Vision 2030 that focuses exclusively Qatari workforce”, said International Islamic  CEO Abdul Basit Al Shaibei (pictured).

“We trust our brothers and sisters and open our doors for them. We are keen to recruit more citizens as they have proved that they are eligible to occupy key positions in the banking sector and other jobs as well,” he added.
