Toyota Motor and its subsidiary Hino Motors display the new electric trucks, a one-tonne capacity and equipped with compartments to keep products cool and frozen, in Tokyo. The EV truck, including its refrigator and freezer, is powered by Li-ion batteries, meaning it generates no emission during operation. Japan’s delivery company Yamato Transport will start trial use of two EV trucks from middle of this month.
