Doha: HE Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Khalifa Al-Thani issued Saturday a ministerial decision to form a committee for the ministry's distinguished administration award.
The award is aimed at increasing competitiveness between the ministry's employees. That in turn will help improve the services in authorities and municipalities.
The step is part of the ministry's contribution towards Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to rely on national cadres in leading the government services sector.
The prize goes to the winning authority or municipality based on a number of factors. The first is achieving the authority's/municipality's pre-determined goals. Secondly, committing to a professional attitude while dealing with the public. Third, creating a positive working environment that promotes cooperation. Finally, using innovative solutions in the face of challenges.
