Artistes perform during the concert organised by Cultural Village Foundation at the Opera House.
DOHA: With a large number of visitors, the Cultural Village Foundation held the international concert “From Latin America to Europe” for the famous on Friday evening at the Opera House in building 16.
The Concert was organised in cooperation with the Embassy of El Salvador as the famous Salvadoran maestro Napoleon Dominguez was performing with his band.
Many Ambassadors and diplomats from different countries attended the concert, in addition to a big number of visitors from different communities in Doha filled all the seats of the Opera House to watch the performance.
Alfredo Samayoa, the Salvadoran Ambassador to Qatar, delivered a speech at the outset of the concert and highlighted the strong ties between El Salvador and Qatar in many fields of cooperation.
The renowned maestro Napoleon Dominguez had performed in many operas around the world such as “La Traviata”, “Madama Butterfly”, “Rigoletto”, “Pagliacci”, “Carmen” in Portugal and Spain.
In 2012 he began his studies in Canto’s professional career in Madrid, Spain, being one of the most outstanding tenors of his generation. During career journey, he created his own band from Latin America and from Europe.
He has also represented his country El Salvador in various cultural festivals in Spain, highlighting his participation in the Festival of the Nations of Seville, receiving a special congratulation from Mayor Juan Espadas.
The audience enjoyed the performance which included many famous music tracks and ones of world-class composers.
