Vedant Suresh with his award.
Doha, Qatar: A student of MES Indian School Vedant Suresh won the coveted award for his record of solving a single pyramid Rubik’s Cube in record time with one hand in the teenager’s category.
It has been awarded to Vedant Suresh by the prestigious India Book of Records and officially declared that in less than 33 seconds, Suresh was able to solve the Rubik’s Cube called the pyramid using only his right hand. He was 13 years and 12 days at the time the record was set on July 28, 2023.
The task of reinstating the scrambled tetrahedron-shaped pyramid to its original configuration in the least possible time was given to Suresh. The successful completion of the task in an amazing amount of time has made this 8th Grader a worthy title holder.
“This is indeed a proud moment for the entire MES family, and we wholeheartedly congratulate Suresh for his laudable accomplishment and his family for their support. We wish him the very best for setting future records in this field of his passion,” said Principal of MES Indian School Dr. Hameeda Kadar.
