Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met President of Yemen Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi and accompanying delegation at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and means to develop them in addition to a host of issues of common concern.
President Hadi briefed the Emir on the latest developments in Yemen and the international efforts to legitimise the government and expressed thanks and appreciation to the Emir, and Qatar for generously contributing to realising security and stability in Yemen, especially supporting the electricity sector.
The Emir affirmed that Qatar will continue its efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis, and its support for the legitimate government as well as its keenness on Yemen's unity and stability.
The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellences the Ministers.
