Doha: The quarter-final stage of the Qatar Stars League Nations Cup will commence tomorrow after a winter break.
All matches will be played at the Al Rayyan Sports Complex.
The QSL Nations Cup is aimed at encouraging the local community to get involved in football, be it as a player or fan. With 16 teams left in the competition and representing countries from all across the world this event clearly reflects the culturally diverse city of Doha. This year the tournament started out with 24 nationality based teams all competing to be crowned champions, and collect the 15,000 QAR first prize.
After the group stages, the teams have now been whittled down to the following: England, Romania, Pakistan, Syria, Portugal, Algeria, Somalia, Chad, Afghanistan, Spain, France, Tunisia, Italy, Jordan, Ethiopia and Egypt.The Peninsula
