Doha: The Traffic Investigations Department of the General Traffic Department seized 15 motorcycles for various violations.
The department in a tweet said that the violations varied from having no number plates, covering the number plates, to making loud noise and other serious traffic violations.
The Department added that the offenders were booked under Section 94 of the Traffic Act and were referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the legal procedures against them.
The General Traffic Administration called on motorists and road users to avoid unruly traffic behaviour and to abide by traffic rules to maintain public safety.
