Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received the credentials of five new ambassadors, at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. They ambassadors were Pavol Svetik (Slovakia); U Ko Ko Latt (Myanmar); Darko Uskokovic (Montenegro); Merete Juhl (Denmark); and Sman Manan (Cambodia). They conveyed to the Emir greetings of their leaders and their best wishes to the Qatari people of further progress and prosperity.
The Emir welcomed the ambassadors and wished them success in their mission and relations between Qatar and their countries further progress.
The ambassadors were earlier accorded an official reception ceremony at the Emiri Diwan.
