250kg of chicken destroyed

DOHA: The Health Monitoring Section at Umm Salal Municipality destroyed 250kg of chicken whose manufacturing date had expired.
Meanwhile, Al Wakrah Municipality destroyed 40kg of fish found unfit for human consumption. A veterinary doctor disclosed the quantity to inspectors who had visited the fish market.
Al Khor-Al Dakhira Municipality, in collaboration with the Public Parks Department, removed garbage dumped in open space near a gas pipeline, and put signs in three languages to inform people not throw waste in there.
