Doha: Saeed Nasser Al Qadi astride 13-year-old mare Electra B won the Medium Tour class during the ninth round of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour yesterday.

Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation President Badr bin Muhammad Al Darwish presents the Medium Tour Round 9 winner's trophy to Saeed Nasser Al Qadi.

At the Qatar Equestrian Federations’ outdoor arena, Al Qadi and Electra B were the fastest in the 135cm class in a time of 53.34 seconds. Rashid Towaim Al Marri came second with Navaronne in 53.46 seconds, while Cyrine Cherif and Brennus Villelongue pair finished third in 54.11 secs.

The top three podium finishers in the individual competition also helped ExxonMobil to team title in the Medium Tour. Their combined time of 106.80 secs ensured ExxonMobil finished ahead of QAF and Salam International.

The Small Tour title was won by Mohammed Jabor Al Naimi, who riding Naville Z stopped the clock in 37.35 seconds. Saeed Hamad Jumaa (Jirocco Blue, 39.29 secs) came second, while Mohamed Rashid Al Amri (Cornett Des Forrets, 39.41 secs) was third.
