Algiers: The Algerian army arrested 32 illegal immigrants, today, who were planning to enter the country illegally through the southern states of Adrar and Biskra, south-east of Algiers.

The Algerian Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the Gendarmerie National arrested migrants carrying various African nationalities as they tried to cross the country's southwestern border and the southeastern border.

The statement added that the authorities took legal action with them and informed the embassies of their countries of the illegal situation in which they are.
