Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA) received a delegation from Qatar University led by President of the university Dr. Hassan Al Derham and Vice Presidents, Deans, and other members of the university.
The delegation was received by Minister of State and Chairman of QFZA, H E Ahmad Al Sayed in the presence of several QFZA leaders. QFZA and the delegation discussed ways to strengthen cooperation, specifically in research and development (R&D) and innovation. The visit included presentations from QFZA and companies based in the free zones, including Google Cloud, Thales, Gaussin, and others, to showcase their experiences. The visit also included an introductory tour of Ras Bufontas Free Zone and the Business & Innovation Park and visits to some companies in the free zones.
