The State of Qatar welcomed the admission of the State of Palestine to the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) during its General Assembly in Beijing. In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that this achievement would help in tackling the dangers and challenges facing the Palestinian cause.
The statement reiterated Qatar’s full support for the Palestinian people to regain their rights, self-determination and establish their sovereign independent state on the borders of June 4, 1967 with Jerusalem as its capital. More international organisations are recognising Palestine.
