Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Qatar, Pasquale Salzano.
Talks covered bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them, and means of promoting prospects of cooperation between the two countries, in addition to issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
