DOHA: A fresh spell of unstable weather is expected in the country from later today and may last until the end of the week.
A special bulletin issued by the weather bureau yesterday said Qatar is likely to be affected by an extension of low pressure in the upper atmosphere beginning tonight that may continue until the end of the week.
This will gradually lead to a partly cloudy to cloudy weather, with chances of scattered rains, especially in the northern and western areas.

Fresh southerly wind will continue until Tuesday morning, changing to northwesterly-northerly from early Tuesday afternoon. It will be fresh to strong with speed of 10 to 20 knots, reaching 28 knots at times.
Sea waves could jump up to four to seven feet offshore.
The fresh northwesterly wind will continue until the end of Thursday with the possibility of blowing dust and low horizontal visibility of up to 3km or less in some areas.
The Met Office has urged people to exercise caution and avoid sea activities during fresh winds and weather changes and regularly follow its weather updates and warnings on its website and social media accounts.
The routine weather forecast said strong winds are likely this afternoon and the seas will be high and witness high winds.
Day temperatures would likely vary between 30 degrees C in places like Messaieed, Al Wakrah, Al Khor and Al Ruwais and 37 in Abu Samra.
During the day, Abu Samra will be the hottest and the coldest at night, with the mercury expected to drop to 20 degrees.
