Doha, Qatar: Qatar News Agency yesterday launched a specialised training course on monitoring and analysis of social media platforms.
The move is part of a series of professional development programs organized by the QNA Training Centre, reflecting the agency’s ongoing efforts to upskill its media personnel and enhance their capabilities in digital journalism and content analytics. The three-day course is lectured by Ibrahim Ayyad, media expert at QNA, with the participation of a variety of functionaries from various public ministries and authorities, alongside elite personnel from the Saudi Press Agency.
The course broadly aims to enable participants to monitor and unpack developments across social media in multiple fields, compose accurate and holistic analytical reports that contribute to supporting decision-making, and provide stakeholders with clear-eyed insights into the optics of social media trends.
