Image Du Croate races to another big victory in Toulouse.
Doha: Bursting into the limelight when breaking her maiden in Group 1 company three weeks ago, the three-year-old Purebred Arabian filly Image Du Croate (Munjiz x Beanie Du Croate) carried the colours of owner H E Sheikha Reem Bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani to another big race success when taking the Prix Nevada II (Group 3 PA) in Toulouse.
Trained by Elizabeth Bernard, Image Du Croate put up an excellent performance when getting up close home to land Group 1 PA Qatar Arabian Trophy Des Pouliches three weeks ago.
The three-year-old was dropped back to 1,600m at Toulouse and she showed the same determined attitude to score under an excellent ride by jockey Maxime Guyon.
Moharram wins Prix Cheri Bibi in Toulouse
The three-year-old Purebred Arabian Moharram (Assy x Amandine de Ghazal) carried the colours of his owner H H Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani to a second Group success when landing the Prix Cheri Bibi (Group 3 PA) in Toulouse. Trained by the ever-dominant Thomas Fourcy, Moharram landed the Prix Tidjani (Group 3 PA) back in July and has now won three of his five career starts.
Moharram was ridden for the first time by jockey Jerome Cabre.
