Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “Kahramaa”, represented by its Health, Safety & Environment Department, organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Blood Donor Center at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) at its headquarters.
This initiative aims at contributing to the blood storage of the country under its social responsibility. The campaign started at 8am and ended by 2pm in front of Kahramaa’s headquarters, where a mobile vehicle unit was provided for blood donation with medical equipment, said a release.
Kahramaa employees voluntarily donated their blood to patients. This event contributed in promoting the values of giving and mercy as well as raising awareness of the benefits related to blood donation for donor and its importance in saving people’s live.
This campaign is a part of Kahramaa’s role in communication and contribution to serve community and disseminate awareness of the importance and benefits related to blood donation.
Kahramaa is committed to continue organising and promoting such events in support for the community around us.
