Doha: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned a car bomb explosion near to the Parliament and Interior Ministry buildings in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, which caused a number of deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.
The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, the government and the people of Somalia, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
