DOHA: The Advisory Council held yesterday its regular weekly session chaired by Deputy Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti. The Council discussed the Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee’s report on the draft law on permanent residency.
After wide ranging discussions, the council decided to return the draft law to the Internal and Foreign Affairs Committee for further study.
The Council then reviewed a report on the participation of its delegation in Regional Forum of Parliamentarians on Science and Diplomacy, which took place recently in Oman.
