London - Europe's main stock markets rose at the start of trading on Friday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbing 0.19 percent to 6,908.13 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.63 percent to 11,918.79 points and the CAC 40 in Paris advanced 0.27 percent to 5,020.09 compared with Thursday's close.
